Simagic P-Active P1000-FB Active Pedal BundleAn active brake and a P1000 throttle on one baseplate, ready to bolt in.
This bundle pairs the Simagic P-Active servo-driven active pedal with the Simagic P1000-FB, a P1000 baseplate fitted with the familiar P1000 throttle. You get a complete two-pedal set in one box: a servo-driven active brake that can recreate spring, elastomer and hydraulic feel, with dual 250 kg load cells and live telemetry feedback under your foot, plus a proven throttle on a solid base. Available from Player1 Sim Gear, your authorised Simagic dealer in Australia, shipping Australia-wide.
- The simplest way into active braking: no existing pedal platform needed, the P-Active and throttle arrive ready to sit on the same P1000 baseplate.
- Room to grow: add a clutch later, or a second P-Active, and the P-Active also includes adapter kits for P2000 and aluminium profile mounting. See mounting and connection.
Before you order
This is a two-pedal set: active brake plus throttle. A clutch is not included.
The bundle is built for drivers who want an active brake without already owning a Simagic pedal platform. If you already run a Simagic P1000 or P2000 set, the P-Active on its own is usually the better buy, because it mounts to your existing platform. The P-Active is not compatible with the inverted P1000i. Not sure which suits your rig? Call us and we will check it with you.
Just want the pedal?
Get the Simagic P-Active on its own
Already running Simagic P1000 or P2000 pedals? You do not need the baseplate and throttle in this set. The P-Active is also sold as a single pedal, with adapter kits in the box for P1000, P2000 and aluminium profile mounting, so you can add an active brake to the pedals you already own.
Shop the P-Active pedal only →Why this bundle
A complete active-brake pedal set, in one box.
Programmable Brake Feel
A servo motor controls the brake's resistance, so the same pedal can feel like a spring, an elastomer stack or a hydraulic brake. Change it per car instead of swapping parts.
Active Telemetry Feedback
ABS, traction control, wheel lock, wheel slip, RPM and gear shifts are turned into feedback you feel through the P-Active, not just see on a dash.
Dual 250 kg Load Cells
Two custom 250 kg sensors sit directly behind the pedal face and read your foot pressure at 16-bit resolution, with a 180 kg limit set in software.
P1000 Throttle and Baseplate
The P1000-FB gives the P-Active a proper home: a rigid P1000 baseplate with the P1000 throttle already in place beside it.
Raised-Pivot Geometry
The P-Active's higher pivot gives a more forward stroke with less ankle rotation, lining your leg force up for finer pressure control and a smoother release.
Expand When You Are Ready
The P-Active can be set as brake, throttle or clutch in software, and multiple P-Active pedals link over RJ45, so the set can grow with you.
How it works
What you get, and why an active brake feels different
Optimised pedal geometry
Push forward, control better
On most pedals your foot pivots at the ankle and the force goes in at an angle. The P-Active raises the pivot point, so the brake stroke moves forward rather than down.
- Less ankle rotation through the stroke, which is easier on long stints.
- Leg force lines up with the pedal, so pressure is easier to hold and modulate at the threshold.
- Smoother release when you trail off the brake into the corner.
Active feedback
A brake that responds to your drive
Because the resistance is servo-driven, the P-Active can do more than push back. It turns live telemetry into feedback under your foot, so you can feel the ABS working or a wheel starting to lock before you see it.
- Telemetry effects: ABS, TC, wheel lock, wheel slip, RPM and gear shifts.
- Recreates real brake types: spring, elastomer and hydraulic feel from one unit.
- Fast return: full-stroke return in as little as 100 ms.
Max force
Every bit of brake pressure is measured
The two load cells are mounted directly behind the P-Active's pedal face rather than further down the linkage, so they read your foot pressure more directly. Sensor capacity is 250 kg, and Simagic caps the usable range at 180 kg in software.
- Pressure, not position: braking follows how hard you push, like a real car.
- 16-bit resolution for fine control right at the edge of lock-up.
- Adjustable pedal force to suit your seat position and leg strength.
Open pedal ecosystem
Start with two pedals, build from there
Begin with an active brake and the P1000 throttle, then expand at your own pace. Multiple P-Active pedals link to each other over Ethernet (RJ45), so you still only need one USB connection to the PC for them.
- Add a clutch later: either a second P-Active set to clutch, or a conventional clutch pedal (ask us about fitment).
- P2000 and aluminium profile adapter kits come with the P-Active, if you ever move it to another platform.
- Optional P-Active Baseplate (coming from Simagic) supports P2000 pedal faces and third-party throttle and clutch pedals.
SimPro Manager
Tune every part of the brake in software
The P-Active is set up in Simagic SimPro Manager, the same app that runs Simagic wheelbases and pedals. Official presets give you a starting point, and everything can be saved as your own preset.
Role and presets
Assign the P-Active as brake, throttle or clutch, with official presets for each, plus your own custom presets.
Force curves
Linear, exponent, logarithm and S-curve presets, or a custom response curve with eight editable control points.
Dead zone and travel
Adjust the dead zone at the start and end of travel, plus pedal travel, angle, linearity and force.
Damping
Switch damping on or off, with separate compression and rebound damping from 0 to 100%.
Friction and end stops
Adjustable friction intensity (0 to 100%), and front and back stops in Soft, Standard or Firm.
Telemetry effects
ABS, TC, wheel lock, wheel slip, RPM, clutch bite point and gear shift effects, felt through the pedal.
Mounting and connection
How the bundle fits your rig, and how it connects
| Mount or connection | Supported | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| P1000 baseplate (included) | Yes | The P-Active and P1000 throttle sit together on the included P1000 baseplate. |
| Cockpit or pedal deck | Yes | The baseplate bolts to a pedal deck in the same way as a Simagic P1000 set. Tell us your cockpit and we will confirm. |
| Simagic P2000 pedal sets (2-pedal and 3-pedal) | Yes | The P-Active can move to a P2000 using its included P2000 profile adapter kit. |
| Simagic P1000i / P1000i-RS (inverted) | No | The P-Active is not compatible with the inverted P1000 pedals. |
| PC | Yes | The P-Active connects to the PC directly. Several P-Active pedals can share one USB connection by linking over RJ45. |
| Simagic wheelbase | Yes | The P-Active can connect to a Simagic base over its CAN FD ports. |
| Consoles | No | PC only. |
Because the pedals connect to the PC, this set can sit alongside a MOZA, Fanatec, Simucube or Heusinkveld wheelbase as well as a Simagic one. Power: the P-Active needs its own 48 V DC supply (8.3 A, 398 W max). If you want us to confirm cabling or mounting for your exact base and rig, call us on 0488 385 870.
