About Heusinkveld pedals

Heusinkveld builds some of the most respected load-cell pedals in sim racing, trusted by elite esports drivers and professional teams for their precision and consistency. The range spans the Sprint and Ultimate+ pedal sets in 2- and 3-pedal configurations, clutch-only units and baseplates, plus the Heusinkveld handbrake, MagShift sequential shifter and rest pedal. The pedals connect over USB and are tuned in Heusinkveld’s SmartControl software, so they run with any PC-based sim and pair with most direct-drive wheelbases. We stock Heusinkveld locally, handle warranty here in QLD, and ship Australia-wide with pricing in AUD including GST.

What’s the difference between the Sprint and Ultimate+ pedals?

Both use a load-cell brake, but the Ultimate+ is Heusinkveld’s flagship: a higher maximum brake force, finer adjustment and a stiffer, more refined feel. The Sprint delivers the same load-cell precision at a more accessible price and suits most sim racers extremely well.

Do Heusinkveld pedals use a load cell?

Yes. The brake pedal is load-cell based, so it responds to pressure rather than travel, just like a real car. That is what makes braking so repeatable once you have dialled it in.

Will Heusinkveld pedals work with my setup?

They connect to your PC over USB and are seen as a standard controller, so they work with any PC sim independently of your wheelbase. On consoles, support depends on whether your wheelbase passes the pedals through, so if you are unsure, send us your setup and we will confirm.

Can I start with two pedals and add a clutch later?

Yes. We stock clutch-only units and baseplates, so you can begin with a throttle-and-brake set and expand to three pedals later. Tell us what you have and we will confirm the right add-on.

What is SmartControl?

SmartControl is Heusinkveld’s free software for calibrating your pedals, setting the brake force curve and saving profiles. It is where you tailor the pedal feel to your preference.

Do the pedals need a special mount or baseplate?

The pedals bolt to a Heusinkveld baseplate (included with the sets, and available separately for custom builds) and mount to most sim rigs. If you tell us your cockpit we will confirm fitment and any hardware you need.

Do you also stock the Heusinkveld handbrake and shifter?

Yes. Alongside the pedals we carry the Heusinkveld handbrake, the MagShift sequential shifter and the rest pedal, so you can build out a full Heusinkveld setup.

Is there Australian warranty and support?

Yes. Your purchase is covered by an Australian warranty and we handle support locally from our QLD base, so you are not chasing service overseas.
