Sim Racing Wheels Australia
The steering wheel is where you feel everything. Every kerb, every snap of oversteer, every fraction of front-end grip. At Player1 Sim Gear, we stock wheels from MOZA Racing, Simagic, Conspit, and Logitech to cover entry through to serious direct drive setups. For drivers chasing the absolute best, we are also the Australian distributor for SOELPEC and Ascher Racing, two of the most respected specialist wheel manufacturers in the world. Whether you need a formula-style rim for open-wheel racing, a GT wheel for endurance stints, a round wheel for rally and drift, or a premium specialist rim, we can point you at the right hardware for the way you actually race.
All wheels are priced in AUD with GST included. We are based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and handle warranty and support locally. You are not sending anything overseas.

What Kind of Racing Do You Do?
Formula Wheels
Compact rectangular rims built for open-wheel and prototype racing. Fixed hand position at 9-and-3, sculpted grips, dual clutch paddles, and packed with buttons for F1, IndyCar, and LMP driving. Typically 270-290mm in diameter.
GT Wheels
D-shaped or flat-bottom wheels typically around 280-320mm. These suit GT3, GT4, and endurance racing where you want comfortable grip across long stints and easy access to ABS, TC, and pit limiter controls without moving your hands.
Round Wheels
Full circular rims from 320mm upward. The most adaptable option in the range. They handle wide steering rotation for rally and drift, and work well across road cars and older racing classes. A sensible first choice if you race across multiple disciplines.
Formula vs GT vs Round: Which Wheel Shape Is Right for You?
The shape of your wheel affects how you physically interact with the car model. Here is how each type performs across the most common sim racing disciplines.
| Discipline / Sim | Formula Wheel | GT / D-Shape Wheel | Round Wheel |
|---|---|---|---|
| F1 / Open-Wheel (iRacing, F1 25) | Best fit, matches real car geometry | Workable, slightly less immersive | Can feel unwieldy for small inputs |
| GT3 / GT4 (ACC, iRacing) | Good, many real GT3 cars use formula-style rims | Best fit, D-shape matches real car | Works fine for longer rotation cars |
| Endurance (Le Mans Ultimate) | Good for LMP1/LMP2 prototypes | Best for long stints, comfortable grip | Comfortable across hours of driving |
| Rally (EA WRC, Dirt Rally 2.0) | Not ideal, needs wider rotation range | Acceptable depending on car class | Best fit, handles big lock-to-lock inputs |
| Drift (Assetto Corsa) | Not suitable | Borderline depending on angle required | Best fit, full rotation control |
| Mixed / Road Cars (Forza, AC) | Workable but not the natural choice | Good, comfortable for casual laps | Best fit, most versatile across titles |
| VR Racing (any sim) | Good, compact and stays clear of view | Good, familiar feel in VR | Reliable muscle memory, button positions predictable |
MOZA vs Simagic vs Conspit vs Logitech: Which Wheel Ecosystem Should You Buy Into?
Choosing a steering wheel means choosing an ecosystem. The rim you buy needs to communicate with your wheelbase, and your wheelbase determines which rims you can run. Here is how the four ecosystems we stock compare, from entry-level console setups through to serious direct drive hardware.

Wide Range, High-End Licensed Wheels
MOZA covers every discipline with dedicated formula, GT, round, drift, and rally rims across their R-series lineup. At the top end they carry some genuinely impressive officially licensed wheels: the Porsche Mission R and the Lamborghini Revuelto are standout options that sit above anything else at this price tier. The main trade-off is ecosystem lock-in. Every MOZA wheel is wireless-only, which means they communicate exclusively with MOZA bases. If you are running a Simucube, Simagic, or any other base, MOZA rims will not work. Xbox support exists but is limited: the security chip that enables Xbox is only found in the ESX wheel, which is MOZA's most entry-level rim. So while you can use any MOZA base on Xbox, you are stuck with one basic wheel choice for it. No PlayStation support exists anywhere in the MOZA range.
- Wide wheel range covering all disciplines: formula, GT, round, drift, rally
- Officially licensed high-end wheels: Porsche Mission R, Lamborghini Revuelto
- Pit House software: modern, user-friendly, regularly updated
- Wireless-only: MOZA wheels will not work on any third-party base
- Xbox support limited to ESX wheel only, an entry-level plastic-feel rim
- No PlayStation support on any MOZA hardware

Premium Wheel Quality, Genuinely Open Ecosystem
Simagic wheels are built to a level that outpaces most of the direct drive market at this price point. Real carbon fibre on the FX Pro, magnetic paddle shifters, and a quick release system consistently rated as the tightest and most flex-free available. The force feedback feel is sharper and more detailed than comparable MOZA hardware, which is why experienced sim racers tend to rate Simagic rims so highly. The Zeus system is worth calling out separately. The Zeus Sport and GT Hub allow you to swap multiple different rims onto the same hub unit, giving you a genuinely modular wheel setup without needing to buy a new QR each time. Zeus also adds modular dash display integration, keeping your data in the wheel rather than on a separate screen. On the ecosystem front, Simagic has become one of the most open platforms in the market via MagLink, MagLink Pro, Zeus MagDoc, and the QR-A adapter: many newer Simagic wheels can be used on third-party bases, and third-party wired wheels can be run on Simagic bases. Simagic is PC only with no console support.
- Premium build quality: CNC aluminium, real carbon fibre on flagship rims
- Best-in-class force feedback: sharp, detailed, highly rated by enthusiasts
- Best-in-class quick release: rock solid, zero flex
- Zeus Sport and GT Hub allow multiple rims on one hub, true modular setup
- Open ecosystem: MagLink, MagLink Pro, Zeus MagDoc, QR-A for cross-base use
- Zeus range adds native SimHub support and modular dash display integration
- PC only, no console support at all

Entry to Mid-Tier, Unmatched Console Support
Logitech covers significantly more ground than their reputation suggests. The G923 is a belt-drive all-in-one setup aimed squarely at entry-level drivers: plug-and-play, good value, and reliable. The Logitech G RS is a meaningful step up targeting mid-tier drivers who want better hardware without committing to full direct drive, and its wheel hub supports swappable wheel rims, giving you some flexibility to change your setup as your preferences evolve. The G RS also carries an officially licensed McLaren arrangement, making it the choice for any McLaren fans in the sim racing community. The single biggest differentiator for Logitech is console support. The G923 and G RS are the only sim racing wheels in our range that work natively across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. No other manufacturer in this comparison can offer that breadth of console compatibility. If console matters to you at all, Logitech is the answer.
- Native PC, PlayStation, and Xbox support across the range. No other brand matches this
- Logitech G RS wheel hub supports swappable wheel rims
- Officially licensed McLaren versions available in the G RS range
- G923: strong entry-level all-in-one setup
- Mid-tier hardware: strong for the price, not at direct drive force feedback level
- G923 has a fixed rim, no swapping
- No direct drive option; upgrade path leads to MOZA or Simagic

Native SimHub, Strong Ecosystem Value
Conspit are a sim racing manufacturer whose hardware punches well above its price point. The flagship wheels are the 300 GT and the Max01, with the Max01 being their SimHub-native wheel: it supports LEDs, display, and RGB control directly through SimHub out of the box, which is a genuine differentiator at this price tier. The 310 Apex also carries a built-in LCD display with SimHub support. For drivers who want SimHub integration without the cost of a Zeus Simagic setup, Conspit is the most accessible route to it. Their H.A.O Carbon Fibre Hub is worth calling out separately: 100% carbon fibre construction, supports three interchangeable rim options (CX295, DX320, RX320), and accepts third-party USB wheels as well. All Conspit wheels are USB wired with a standard 70mm bolt pattern, so they work on any direct drive base including Simagic, Simucube, Fanatec, and their own Ares bases. The Ares range rounds out the ecosystem alongside their CPP hydraulic pedal lineup. Brand ambassador is Yifei Ye, 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours Champion.
- Native SimHub support on Max01 and 310 Apex; not available on MOZA or standard Simagic
- H.A.O Carbon Fibre Hub: three interchangeable rims, accepts third-party USB wheels
- USB wired, 70mm bolt pattern, works on any direct drive base
- Full ecosystem: Ares bases, CPP hydraulic pedals, CSD SimHub dashboard
- Endorsed by Yifei Ye, 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours Champion
- PC only, no console support
- Smaller brand presence in Australia; we are an authorised reseller

Looking for a Specialist Wheel? SOELPEC and Ascher Racing
Beyond the main ecosystem brands, we are the Australian distributor for two specialist wheel manufacturers whose products are in a different category entirely. These are dedicated rim makers: no wheelbases, no pedals, just steering wheels built to the highest standard available in sim racing. If you are running a high-end direct drive base and want the best possible rim to match it, this is where you look.

European Specialist Manufacturer
SOELPEC build a small, focused range of high-end steering wheels under their Spectra lineup. The design language is distinctive and modern: machined billet aluminium structure, 700gf tactile switches, custom-developed encoders, and fully programmable RGB illumination throughout. The flagship Spectra XR adds a 5-inch integrated touchscreen display that feeds live telemetry data directly into the wheel face. The Spectra LT is the same construction without the screen for drivers who prefer a cleaner setup. Their newest model, the Terra LX, brings the Spectra build quality into a slightly more accessible price point. All SOELPEC wheels connect via USB wired connection with a standard 70mm bolt pattern, making them compatible with any direct drive base including Simagic, Simucube, and others. Standalone XR-5 and XR-7 dash display units are also available separately to complement any rig.
- Machined billet aluminium construction throughout
- Spectra XR: integrated 5-inch live telemetry touchscreen in the wheel face
- Custom 700gf tactile switches: best-in-class button feel
- USB wired, 70mm bolt pattern, works on any direct drive base
- XR-5 and XR-7 standalone dash displays available separately
- Specialist product: premium price point, not an entry-level option
- Small, focused range: Spectra XR, Spectra LT, Terra LX

German Specialist Manufacturer
Ascher Racing are a German specialist manufacturer whose wheels are trusted by professional sim racing teams including Team Redline, and used by Max Verstappen for sim racing training and esports competition. Their range covers formula-style button plates (F64, F28) and GT button plates, all built to a level that matches or exceeds anything else available at this price point. The McLaren connection is genuine: Ascher hold an official McLaren licensing arrangement, producing the Artura Sport, Artura Pro, Artura GT4, and Artura Ultimate as officially branded replicas of the real McLaren Artura steering wheel. Most Ascher wheels are available in USB wired variants with a standard 70mm bolt pattern that works across Simagic, Simucube, Fanatec, and other direct drive bases. Simucube wireless variants are also available for SC2 and SC3 users who prefer a cable-free setup. Build quality is exceptional: CNC-machined anodised aluminium, automotive-grade push buttons with tactile feedback, and a level of rigidity that eliminates any flex during high-torque use.
- Officially licensed McLaren wheels: Artura Sport, Pro, GT4, Ultimate
- Used by Team Redline and Max Verstappen for esports competition
- CNC-machined anodised aluminium, zero flex under high-torque use
- USB wired variants work on any direct drive base (70mm bolt pattern)
- Simucube wireless (SC) variants available for SC2/SC3 users
- Specialist product: premium price point, purpose-built for serious sim racers
Choosing the Right Wheel Shape for Your Sim Setup
The shape of your rim should follow the cars you drive most. Here is what each category gives you on track, and which wheels from our range fit each discipline.
Open-Wheel and Prototype Racing
Compact rectangular rims that mirror what you find in a real F1 or LMP car. The fixed hand position at 9-and-3 reduces fatigue on high-speed circuits and keeps button reach consistent. Smaller diameter means more direct, sensitive inputs, which suits single-seater and prototype driving where precision matters more than rotation range.
- Diameter: typically 270-290mm
- Best sims: iRacing, F1 25, Le Mans Ultimate
- Best cars: F1, IndyCar, LMP1/2, Dallara Formula cars
- Key features: dual clutch paddles, rotary encoders, dash display
GT3, GT4 and Endurance Racing
The flat-bottom D-shape gives legroom clearance and a comfortable grip position for stints measured in hours rather than minutes. GT wheels sit around 280-320mm, balancing steering leverage with cockpit ergonomics. Many real GT3 cars have shifted to formula-inspired butterfly shapes, and you will find the same trend in higher-end GT rims from MOZA and Simagic.
- Diameter: 280-320mm
- Best sims: ACC, iRacing GT series, Le Mans Ultimate
- Best cars: GT3, GT4, GTE, V8 Supercars
- Key features: ergonomic grips, TC/ABS rotaries, flat bottom
Rally, Drift and Mixed Driving
A full circular rim is the most adaptable wheel you can own. Wide lock-to-lock rotation for rally and drift feels natural on a round rim, and the familiar shape works across road cars and casual driving titles. A larger diameter also softens the steering leverage slightly, which some drivers find more comfortable across longer sessions.
- Diameter: 320mm and above
- Best sims: EA Sports WRC, Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2.0
- Best cars: Rally, drift, road cars, touring cars
- Key features: full rotation, versatile grip shape, broad button layout
Compatible With Your Favourite Sims
Sim Racing Wheel Questions, Answered
Common questions we hear from customers in Australia choosing their first or next sim racing wheel.
What is the difference between a formula wheel and a GT wheel in sim racing?
A formula wheel is a compact rectangular rim, typically 270-290mm, designed to replicate open-wheel race cars like F1 and LMP prototypes. It encourages a fixed hand position at 9-and-3, suits small-rotation driving, and packs in buttons and clutch paddles for single-seater inputs. A GT wheel is larger, usually 280-320mm, and uses a D-shape or flat-bottom design that provides more legroom and comfort across long stints. GT wheels suit the wider rotation ranges of sports cars and include rotary encoders for in-race ABS and TC adjustments. If you primarily race F1 or LMP cars, go formula. If it is GT3, GT4, or endurance racing, a GT wheel is the better fit.
Can I use a MOZA wheel with a Simagic wheelbase, or vice versa?
In most cases, no. All MOZA wheels are wireless-only, which means they will not function on any third-party wheelbase at all. There is no wired fallback option: if you are running a Simucube, Fanatec, or any non-MOZA base, MOZA rims simply will not work. Simagic is the more flexible story. Through MagLink, MagLink Pro, the Zeus MagDoc connector system, and the QR-A adapter, many newer Simagic wheels can be wired up for use on third-party bases, and third-party wired wheels can be used on Simagic bases. If cross-ecosystem compatibility matters to you, Simagic is currently the stronger option.
Is MOZA or Simagic better for sim racing wheels in Australia?
Both are excellent, and we stock and support both, so there is no clean one-wins answer. MOZA brings a wide range of rim styles and some genuinely impressive licensed wheels at the high end, including the Porsche Mission R and the Lamborghini Revuelto. Their wireless-only connectivity is a clean, modern experience within their own ecosystem. The trade-off is that MOZA wheels will not work on any other brand's base, so you are committing to the MOZA wheelbase if you go down that path. Simagic wins on outright build quality and force feedback feel: real carbon fibre, the tightest quick release at this price point, and sharp, detailed force feedback that experienced sim racers consistently rate highly. Simagic has also become a genuinely open ecosystem through MagLink, MagLink Pro, the Zeus MagDoc system, and the QR-A adapter, meaning their newer wheels can be used across multiple base brands. As an authorised MOZA dealer and Simagic distributor, we can talk you through which suits your specific setup. Call or message us and we will give you a straight answer based on what you race and what base you are running.
Do I need a direct drive wheelbase to use a MOZA or Simagic wheel?
Yes. MOZA and Simagic steering wheel rims are designed to connect to their respective direct drive wheelbases, and the base is a separate purchase. You buy the rim and the base independently, then connect them via a quick release system. The rim alone does nothing without a compatible base. If you are starting from scratch, you can buy a MOZA or Simagic bundle covering base, wheel, and pedals. If you already own a compatible base, you can add a rim by itself. Logitech is the exception: the G923 is an all-in-one unit where rim, base, and pedals ship in a single package.
What size sim racing wheel should I buy?
Size affects steering leverage and how direct the force feedback feels in your hands. A smaller rim, around 270mm for formula wheels, feels more direct and responsive but amplifies any twitchiness in the base. A larger rim, 320-330mm for round wheels, softens the steering slightly and gives more natural control at wider rotation angles. Most drivers racing GT and formula cars settle on 280-300mm. Rally and drift drivers tend to prefer 320mm and above. If you are unsure, a 300mm GT or round wheel is the most forgiving place to start.
What is the best sim racing wheel for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC)?
ACC is primarily a GT3 and GT4 sim, which makes a D-shape GT wheel the most appropriate choice. MOZA GT-style rims and Simagic GT-series wheels are both well-suited. Formula-style rims also work in ACC since many real GT3 cars use formula-style steering wheels, but a D-shape GT rim is more ergonomically comfortable for long-stint ACC racing. A MOZA R9 or Simagic Alpha EVO paired with a GT rim makes for a strong ACC setup at a serious but not extreme price point.
Can I use a sim racing wheel on both PC and console?
It depends on the brand. Logitech is the strongest option for console racers: the G923 and the G RS carry native PlayStation and Xbox support, and they work on PC as well. MOZA has partial Xbox support through the ESX wheel, which is an entry-level model that can be used on Xbox-compatible MOZA bases. MOZA has no PlayStation support across any of their hardware. Simagic is PC only with no console support at all. If console compatibility is a requirement, Logitech is the clear choice in our range. When you are ready to move to a full direct drive setup, that means moving to PC, which is where MOZA and Simagic live.
What is a quick release in sim racing and why does it matter?
A quick release (QR) is the connector between your steering wheel rim and the wheelbase shaft. It lets you swap rims without tools, which matters if you race multiple disciplines and want to change between a formula and a round wheel. QR quality directly affects rigidity: a loose or flex-prone quick release introduces play between rim and shaft, which shows up as dead zone or vagueness in the steering feel. Simagic's QR system is widely regarded as one of the tightest and most flex-free at the mid-range price point. MOZA's QR is fast and practical for frequent swapping. Both are a significant step up from budget alternatives.
Is a round wheel better than a formula wheel for beginner sim racers?
For most beginners, yes. A round wheel covers more disciplines: GT, road cars, rally, and casual driving without compromise. It also handles full-rotation steering naturally, which helps when you are still learning to manage oversteer and trail braking. A formula wheel is a strong choice if you know you want to focus on F1 or open-wheel racing, but it will limit you if you want to explore rally or drift later. Start round, then add a formula rim once you know what you race most.
How do I know which MOZA wheel to buy for my MOZA wheelbase?
All MOZA rims are compatible with all current MOZA direct drive bases, including the R5, R9, R12, R16, and above. The key decisions are which shape suits your racing (formula, GT, or round), how many buttons and encoders you need for your sim titles, and whether you prefer wireless or wired connection (most MOZA bases support wireless). Get in touch and tell us what sims you are running and we will point you at the right model.
Do Simagic wheels work on other brands' wheelbases like MOZA or Simucube?
Increasingly yes, and this is one of the things that has changed most about the Simagic ecosystem recently. Through MagLink, MagLink Pro, the Zeus MagDoc connector system, and the QR-A adapter, Simagic has built meaningful cross-ecosystem compatibility into their newer wheels. Many newer Simagic wheels can be wired up for use on third-party bases from brands like Simucube and others. In the other direction, third-party wired wheels can be connected to Simagic bases. Older Simagic rims like the FX, FX Pro, GT1, GT4, and GTC are still ecosystem-paired and require a Simagic base. If cross-brand compatibility is a priority, check the specific model you are considering and we can confirm whether it supports use on a third-party base via one of the connector systems.
What is the difference between wired and wireless sim racing wheels?
A wireless sim racing wheel transmits button inputs and display data from the rim to the base without a cable running along your arms. MOZA's R-series bases use wireless wheel communication as standard, which is a noticeable quality-of-life improvement for drivers who rotate frequently or dislike cables in peripheral vision. Simagic wheels are a mix of wired and wireless, with data transmitted through the quick release mechanism. Both approaches work well in practice. Wireless is a comfort preference more than a performance consideration.
Can I buy just a steering wheel rim in Australia without a full bundle?
Yes. MOZA and Simagic sell wheel rims as standalone items. If you already own a compatible MOZA or Simagic base, you can add a new rim directly without buying a bundle. We stock individual rims and ship to anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. If you are unsure whether a specific rim is compatible with your existing base, message or call us before you order and we will confirm.
How do MOZA wheels compare to Logitech wheels for sim racing?
They target different stages of the sim racing journey. Logitech G-series wheels are all-in-one units where the rim is part of the base housing and is not designed for swapping. The force feedback uses belt or gear drive mechanisms, which deliver noticeably less detail than a direct drive wheelbase. MOZA wheels run on direct drive bases with a separate quick release system, giving you substantially more torque, better force feedback resolution, and the flexibility to swap rims over time. Logitech is a solid starting point for most people. MOZA is a natural next step.
Does Player1 Sim Gear handle warranty for MOZA and Simagic wheels in Australia?
Yes. As an authorised MOZA dealer and Simagic distributor, we handle warranty and support locally from Queensland. You do not need to ship anything overseas or deal with international retailers. If something goes wrong with your wheel, contact us directly and we will sort it out. This is one of the genuine advantages of buying from an authorised Australian dealer rather than importing directly.
What is the best sim racing steering wheel for iRacing in Australia?
It depends on what you race in iRacing. For Formula, IndyCar, and LMP cars, a formula-style rim like the MOZA KS, GS V2P, or FSR2 will match the car geometry and give you the most realistic experience. For GT3 and sportscar categories, a GT rim around 300mm is a better fit. For ovals, a round wheel suits the continuous left-turn nature of oval racing. iRacing has strong force feedback support for both MOZA and Simagic wheelbases. Get in touch and we will match a wheel to your racing schedule.
Are MOZA and Simagic wheels in stock in Australia for fast delivery?
We carry Australian stock of MOZA and Simagic products and ship from Queensland. Delivery to most capital cities is typically 2-5 business days. For regional areas and New Zealand, delivery times vary. Check individual product pages for current availability, or message us for a real-time stock update before you order.
What is the best high-end sim racing steering wheel for a Simucube base?
Simucube bases, particularly the SC2 and SC3, are high-torque direct drive units and they deserve a rim to match. Ascher Racing and SOELPEC are the two specialist manufacturers we recommend at this level, and we are the Australian distributor for both. Ascher Racing's formula wheels (F64-USB, F28-USB) and their officially licensed McLaren Artura range are a natural fit for Simucube bases via USB wired connection with a standard 70mm bolt pattern. Simucube wireless (SC) variants are also available for drivers who prefer a cable-free setup. SOELPEC's Spectra XR and Spectra LT are similarly compatible via USB wired connection and offer a distinctive design with best-in-class tactile switches and, on the XR, a 5-inch integrated telemetry display built into the wheel face. Both brands build hardware that competes with anything available globally at this price point.
What sim racing wheel does Max Verstappen use?
Max Verstappen and his Team Redline esports team use Ascher Racing wheels for their sim racing training and esports competition. Ascher Racing are a German specialist manufacturer and hold an official McLaren licensing arrangement, producing wheels based on the real McLaren Artura steering wheel. We are the Australian distributor for Ascher Racing and stock their McLaren Artura range including the Artura Sport, Artura Pro, Artura GT4, and Artura Ultimate.
What is SOELPEC and are their wheels available in Australia?
SOELPEC are a European specialist sim racing wheel manufacturer known for the Spectra lineup: high-end steering wheels built around machined billet aluminium, 700gf tactile switches, custom encoders, and fully programmable RGB illumination throughout. Their flagship model, the Spectra XR, features a 5-inch integrated touchscreen display on the wheel face that outputs live telemetry data without needing a separate dash unit. The Spectra LT is the same platform without the screen. Their newest model, the Terra LX, brings Spectra-level build quality into a slightly more accessible price point. Player1 Sim Gear is the Australian distributor for SOELPEC. All models use USB wired connection with a standard 70mm bolt pattern and are compatible with any direct drive base.
When should I upgrade from a Logitech wheel to a direct drive setup?
Most sim racers hit the ceiling of their Logitech G923 once the force feedback starts feeling vague or disconnected from what the car is doing, particularly in high-grip cars like GT3, LMP prototypes, or high-downforce open-wheelers. Belt and gear drive systems have a mechanical limit on how much detail and torque they can deliver, and you will feel it once your driving improves. The common triggers we hear from customers: brake points feel less consistent, you are losing the front end without warning, or the wheel feels numb through fast corners where direct drive users are getting clear tyre feedback. When those things start bothering you, a MOZA R5 or Simagic Alpha EVO entry bundle is the natural next step. Both give you a step-change in force feedback resolution and come with enough torque to feel genuinely connected to the car model. You will also gain swappable rims, which lets you match the wheel shape to the cars you race rather than being locked into one fixed unit. If you are in that position, call or message us and we can walk you through the options based on what you drive and what you are currently running.
What is Conspit and are their wheels available in Australia?
Conspit are a sim racing manufacturer producing a full ecosystem of wheels, wheelbases, pedals, and accessories. Their wheels are USB wired with a standard 70mm bolt pattern, which means they are compatible with any direct drive base on the market including Simagic, Simucube, and their own Ares bases. The key differentiator for Conspit is native SimHub support: the Max01 and 310 Apex wheels integrate directly with SimHub out of the box, giving you LED, display, and RGB control through the software most sim racers are already running on their PC. This level of SimHub integration is not available on MOZA wheels or standard Simagic wheels, making Conspit a strong choice for SimHub users. Their H.A.O Carbon Fibre Hub adds further flexibility, supporting three interchangeable rim options (CX295, DX320, RX320) and accepting third-party USB wheels as well. Player1 Sim Gear is an authorised Conspit reseller in Australia.
Which sim racing wheels support SimHub natively?
SimHub is one of the most widely used sim racing software tools for dashboard display, LED rev lights, haptic feedback, and motion control. Not all steering wheels integrate with it natively. In the range we stock, the Conspit Max01 and 310 Apex support SimHub out of the box: plug in, configure in SimHub, and your wheel LEDs, display, and RGB respond immediately without additional drivers. The Simagic Zeus range also adds native SimHub support, which is a recent addition to their ecosystem and not available on standard Simagic wheels outside the Zeus line. MOZA wheels do not currently support native SimHub integration. Logitech wheels do not support native SimHub integration. If SimHub is central to your sim setup, Conspit is currently the most accessible route to it in our range. The Simagic Zeus path gives you SimHub plus the broader Zeus modular ecosystem if you want both.
Can Conspit wheels be used on a Simagic or Simucube base?
Yes. All Conspit wheels use USB wired connection and a standard 70mm bolt pattern, which makes them compatible with any direct drive base including Simagic, Simucube, Fanatec, and others. The USB connection handles all button inputs, LED, and display data independently of the wheelbase, so you get full Conspit functionality including SimHub support on whatever base you are running. The H.A.O Carbon Fibre Hub works the same way: it accepts Conspit's own CX295, DX320, and RX320 rims plus any third-party USB wheel, giving you a highly flexible hub solution on any base. As an authorised Conspit reseller in Australia, we can confirm compatibility with your specific setup before you order.
Can Ascher Racing wheels be used on a Simagic wheelbase?
Yes. Ascher Racing's USB wired wheels use a standard 70mm bolt pattern and connect to your PC via USB cable, which makes them compatible with Simagic bases and virtually any other direct drive base on the market. The USB connection handles all button data independently of the wheelbase, so you get full functionality without needing any proprietary adapter. Simagic's QR-A adapter or MagLink system can be used to mount the Ascher wheel physically to the Simagic shaft, and the USB cable handles the data side. Note that the Simucube wireless (SC) variants of Ascher wheels are Simucube-specific and will not work wirelessly on a Simagic base: for Simagic use, choose the USB version. As the Australian distributor for Ascher Racing, we can confirm compatibility with your specific base before you order.
