Vero Motion Australia — Professional-Grade Motion Simulators

Player1 Sim Gear is the authorised Australian distributor for Vero Motion, the actuator-based motion platform brand trusted by real-world racing drivers to translate sim telemetry into physical motion. When your car pitches under brakes, rolls into an apex, or the rear steps out mid-corner, a Vero Motion platform lets you feel it, not just see it, and that feedback is what turns screen time into faster, more instinctive lap times.

The range spans two series built on the same precision actuator technology. The Champion Series is a 3 DOF platform delivering pitch, roll and heave, available in GT and GTR variants. The Legend Series steps up to full 6 DOF, adding longitudinal surge and front-and-rear traction loss for braking dives, acceleration forces, and oversteer and understeer cues that 3 DOF simply cannot replicate. Every platform is SimHub compatible, fits standard aluminium extrusion cockpits, and carries a 3-year warranty.

All Vero Motion platforms are priced in Australian dollars including GST. In-stock units ship fast from our Queensland warehouse, with local warranty and support handled by a team who race on these systems every week.

The Vero Motion Range. One Precision Standard.

Every Vero Motion product is built on the same high-performance Champion actuator technology, with 250 mm/sec response, SimHub integration and a 3-year warranty. Start with 3 DOF, step up to full 6 DOF, or add belt-tension G-forces with the Rival. Every path shares the same precision engineering.

3 DOF or 6 DOF? Feel What the Car Is Actually Doing

Vero Motion platforms are actuator-based: high-speed electric actuators move the entire cockpit in real time from your sim's telemetry. The number of actuators determines how much of the car's behaviour you can physically feel.

3 DOF — Pitch, Roll & Heave

The Champion Series uses four actuators to deliver corner lean, the nose dipping under brakes, and kerbs and bumps through the floor. The core motion cues that make a rig come alive.

6 DOF — Plus Surge & Traction Loss

The Legend Series adds a longitudinal surge actuator and two traction-loss actuators, so you feel braking dives, acceleration forces, and the exact moment the rear breaks away. A complete physical read of grip.

250 mm/sec Response

Every actuator responds with sub-frame accuracy. Fast enough to track snap oversteer, kerb strikes and rapid weight transfer without ever falling behind the on-screen action.

Not sure whether 3 DOF or 6 DOF suits your driving? . Our team races on both and can match a platform to your rig, your titles and your budget.

Built to Integrate. Built to Grow.

Vero Motion platforms are designed to drop under the cockpit you already own and expand as your setup evolves. Start with 3 DOF, step up to 6 DOF, and keep the same precision actuator technology throughout.

Actuator-Based Motion

High-performance electric actuators, four on the Champion and seven on the Legend, deliver smooth, precise, repeatable motion cue after cue across thousands of hours of use.

Fits Aluminium Extrusion Cockpits

Mounting brackets for standard aluminium extrusion profiles are included. Compatible with Trak Racer, Next Level Racing, GT Omega, Sim-Lab and most popular rig brands.

SimHub Plug & Play

Vero Motion Australia — Frequently Asked Questions

What is Vero Motion?
Vero Motion designs actuator-based motion simulator platforms for sim racing. High-speed electric actuators move the entire cockpit in real time from your sim's telemetry, so you physically feel the car pitch, roll, brake, accelerate and lose grip. The range runs from the 3 DOF Champion Series to the full 6 DOF Legend Series, and the same technology is used in the training rigs of professional racing drivers. Player1 Sim Gear is the authorised Australian distributor, so every unit is genuine, warranty-backed and supported locally.
What is the difference between the Champion Series and the Legend Series?
The Champion Series is a 3 DOF platform using four actuators to deliver pitch, roll and heave, corner lean, brake dive and track bumps. The Legend Series is a full 6 DOF platform: it includes the Champion base and adds a surge actuator plus two traction-loss actuators (seven actuators in total) for braking and acceleration forces and front-and-rear oversteer and understeer cues. In short, Champion gives you the core motion cues, Legend gives you the complete physical picture of what the car is doing.
What is the Vero Motion Rival belt tensioner?
The Rival is Vero Motion's active belt-tension system. It uses the same Champion actuator technology to pull your seatbelt harness under braking and acceleration, delivering the G-forces you feel pressing into the belts in a real car, a cue that motion platforms alone do not reproduce. It is available as the Rival and the higher-force Rival GTR, which pairs two actuators with a 5-point harness for up to 90 kg of belt force, and it is SimHub compatible. The Rival works as a standalone upgrade or alongside a Champion or Legend platform for a more complete physical experience. It is arriving soon at Player1 Sim Gear. to register your interest and we will let you know as soon as it lands.
What is the difference between 3 DOF and 6 DOF motion?
Degrees of freedom describe how many ways the platform can move. 3 DOF (the Champion Series) delivers pitch (forward and back tilt), roll (left and right tilt), and heave (vertical movement), so you feel weight shifting into corners, the nose dipping under braking and kerbs through the floor. 6 DOF (the Legend Series) adds longitudinal surge for braking and acceleration forces, and front-and-rear traction loss for the exact moment grip breaks away. 6 DOF gives you a complete read of the car's behaviour, not just how the track surface feels.
Is Player1 Sim Gear an authorised Vero Motion retailer?
Yes. Player1 Sim Gear is the authorised Australian distributor for Vero Motion. That means you are buying genuine Vero Motion platforms with full manufacturer warranty support, not grey imports. We work directly with Vero Motion so every unit we sell is covered, supported and properly documented.
Do you hold Vero Motion stock in Australia?
Yes. We hold Vero Motion platforms locally and dispatch from our Queensland warehouse, so you are not waiting weeks for international freight or dealing with customs clearance. Call 0488 385 870 to confirm current stock and lead times before ordering, as these are large, built-to-order-grade items.
What sim software does Vero Motion work with?
Vero Motion platforms are SimHub compatible out of the box. SimHub is the most widely used motion software in sim racing, it is free to download, and it supports the vast majority of popular titles including iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Dirt Rally 2.0, WRC, the F1 series and Gran Turismo 7. Your telemetry is translated into physical motion cues in real time with no complex configuration required beyond the included controller.
Which cockpits are compatible with Vero Motion platforms?
Vero Motion platforms ship with mounting brackets for standard aluminium extrusion cockpit profiles and are compatible with most popular rig brands including Trak Racer, Next Level Racing, GT Omega and Sim-Lab. If you have a custom or non-standard frame, before ordering and we will confirm compatibility with your specific setup.
What is the difference between the GT and GTR variants?
Both variants share the same core platform. The GT features 100 mm actuator stroke and 320 kg weight capacity, the sweet spot for most home and semi-pro sim racers. The GTR steps up to 150 mm stroke and 800 kg capacity for the most demanding professional setups with heavier rigs. This applies to both series: the Champion is available as GT or GTR, and the Legend includes the matching Champion GT or GTR base. If you are undecided, call 0488 385 870 and we will match you to the right variant for your rig and budget.
Does the Legend Series include the Champion platform?
Yes. The Legend Series is a complete 6 DOF system, and the Champion GT or GTR 3 DOF base is included depending on the variant you select. You do not need to buy a Champion separately. Everything arrives ready to assemble into a single integrated 6 DOF platform, with the surge and traction-loss actuators, three controllers and LED lighting all in the box.
Can I upgrade from the Champion to the Legend later?
Yes. The Legend Series is built around the Champion platform, adding surge and traction-loss actuators for a full 6 DOF experience. Because the Legend extends the Champion system, your original investment carries forward. Talk to our team about upgrade pathways when you are ready to step up from 3 DOF to 6 DOF.
How difficult is a Vero Motion platform to assemble?
Both series are designed for home installation. All required hardware, an E-stop button, floor contact cups and a controller are included, along with step-by-step assembly instructions. The Champion is typically up and moving within a few hours, and the Legend motion base ships assembled with only cockpit installation required. No specialist tools or electrical knowledge are needed beyond standard hex keys, and our local team is on hand if you want a hand getting set up.
How much weight can a Vero Motion platform support?
The GT variants support up to 320 kg and the GTR variants up to 800 kg. That covers the full weight of a real cockpit rig, seat, direct drive wheel base, pedals and driver, with the GTR leaving substantial headroom for the heaviest professional setups. Response speed stays at 250 mm/sec across every variant regardless of load.
What warranty comes with Vero Motion, and how are claims handled?
Every Vero Motion platform includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty, one of the strongest coverage periods in the motion simulator industry. As the authorised Australian distributor, Player1 Sim Gear handles your warranty claim locally in Queensland, so there is no shipping units overseas and no international support desks. Combined with your Australian Consumer Law protections, it is the most comprehensive coverage available for these products in Australia.
Am I protected under Australian Consumer Law when buying from Player1?
Yes. Every purchase from Player1 Sim Gear is fully protected under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides statutory guarantees on top of the Vero Motion manufacturer warranty, including the right to a repair, replacement or refund for major failures. These protections do not apply when buying directly from an overseas retailer.
What is included in the box?
The Champion Series includes four actuators, aluminium extrusion mounting brackets, a controller, an E-stop button, four floor contact cups and all assembly hardware. The Legend Series includes the four Champion actuators plus a surge actuator and two traction-loss actuators, the assembled aluminium extrusion motion base, one exterior and two internal controllers, an E-stop button, two LED strips, two rear LED lights and all mounting hardware. Both are complete systems, ready to install onto your cockpit.
How do I choose the right Vero Motion platform for me?
Start with how much of the car you want to feel and how heavy your rig is. If you want the core motion cues of pitch, roll and heave at the best value, the Champion Series in GT (up to 320 kg) or GTR (up to 800 kg) is ideal. If you want to feel braking, acceleration and the rear stepping out, step up to the 6 DOF Legend Series. Our team races on both platforms across iRacing, Assetto Corsa and more, so or call 0488 385 870 and we will spec the right platform for your cockpit and budget.
Do you ship Vero Motion platforms to New Zealand?
Player1 Sim Gear can ship Vero Motion platforms to New Zealand. These are large, heavy items, so before ordering for a freight quote and lead time to your address. Warranty support continues to be handled through Player1 Sim Gear.
Not sure which Vero Motion platform is right for you?
Our team races on Vero Motion sims every week. Platform advice, cockpit compatibility, SimHub setup and complete build quotes. Ask us anything.
