An active belt-tension system that pulls your harness under braking and acceleration for direct G-force feedback, driven by Vero Motion's Champion actuator technology. What is the Vero Motion Rival belt tensioner?

The Rival is Vero Motion's active belt-tension system. It uses the same Champion actuator technology to pull your seatbelt harness under braking and acceleration, delivering the G-forces you feel pressing into the belts in a real car, a cue that motion platforms alone do not reproduce. It is available as the Rival and the higher-force Rival GTR, which pairs two actuators with a 5-point harness for up to 90 kg of belt force, and it is SimHub compatible. Degrees of freedom describe how many ways the platform can move. 3 DOF (the Champion Series) delivers pitch (forward and back tilt), roll (left and right tilt), and heave (vertical movement), so you feel weight shifting into corners, the nose dipping under braking and kerbs through the floor. 6 DOF (the Legend Series) adds longitudinal surge for braking and acceleration forces, and front-and-rear traction loss for the exact moment grip breaks away. 6 DOF gives you a complete read of the car's behaviour, not just how the track surface feels.
