Conspit designs its hardware as one system. Every Conspit steering wheel ships with a 50/70mm wired quick release adapter, the Ares bases take the CDP quick release, and CONSPIT Link 2.0 handles configuration across the range. Where SimHub is supported, Conspit publishes ready-made dashboard and lighting profiles rather than leaving you to build them.

Ares + CDP Quick Release The CDP uses a clip and ball design borrowed from formula car engineering, CNC machined from 7075 aluminium for zero backlash on the Ares bases.
CDR Universal Quick Release A 50mm PCD auto-locking quick release with sprung contacts. Wheel-side and wheelbase-side halves are sold separately so you can mix brands.
CONSPIT Link 2.0 Free configuration software for wheel displays, RGB lighting and button mapping across the Conspit wheel and hub range.
SimHub Integration Conspit works with SimHub on ready-to-use dashboard layouts and telemetry profiles for the CSD dashboard, Max01, 300 GT and H.A.O hub.

Which Conspit wheel base should I buy, the Ares 12Nm or the Ares Platinum 20Nm?

Both use the same Ares direct drive platform, so the difference is peak torque and headroom rather than feel quality. The Ares 12Nm is plenty for GT3, touring and open-wheel racing and suits most drivers moving up from a belt or gear driven wheel. The Ares Platinum 20Nm suits experienced drivers who want the extra weight and detail under load. If you are unsure, call us on 0488 385 870.

Do Conspit steering wheels work on non-Conspit wheel bases?

Yes. Every Conspit wheel includes a 50/70mm wired quick release adapter with an aviation-grade USB connection, which makes it mechanically compatible with all major third-party 70mm quick release systems. You will still need the wheel-side quick release half that matches your particular base, and that is sold separately. Contact us before ordering if you want us to confirm the combination for your base.

What is the difference between the CDP and CDR quick releases?

The CDP quick release is designed specifically for the Ares direct drive bases and uses a clip and ball locking design borrowed from formula car engineering, CNC machined from 7075 aluminium for zero backlash. The CDR quick release is the universal 50mm PCD system with automatic locking and sprung electrical contacts, and it is sold as separate wheel-side and wheelbase-side halves so you can run Conspit wheels on other brands of base.

The 290 GP is the dedicated formula wheel, with a 4.3-inch LCD, dual clutch paddles and a full switch panel for open-wheel racing. The 300 GT is the carbon fibre GT wheel at 1150g. The Max01 is the flagship and crosses both GT and formula use with a 4-inch touch display. The 310 Apex is the open-style entry wheel with a 2.99-inch display and a microfibre leather rim.

Are Conspit wheels compatible with SimHub?

Mostly, but not universally, so it is worth checking before you buy. The Max01 is 100% plug-and-play with SimHub, and Conspit ships a custom SimHub dashboard design for it. The 300 GT supports SimHub for lighting customisation with the display driven through CONSPIT Link 2.0. The CSD dashboard and the H.A.O hub have full SimHub integration with ready-made presets. The 290 GP does not currently support SimHub and is configured through CONSPIT Link 2.0 instead.

Which Conspit pedals should I choose?

All CPP pedals are hydraulic on the brake, so the question is sensor pressure and features. The CPP Apex 2 is the entry set with a 10MPa sensor and a two-stage spring and elastomer brake feel, and a clutch pedal can be added later. The CPP Lite adds three vibration motors for haptic feedback at around 100kg of brake force. The CPP EVO is the competition set, with a dual-stage hydraulic circuit, a 20MPa sensor at around 200kg and haptics on all three pedals.

Do Conspit pedals need a separate haptic transducer or shaker kit?

No. The CPP Lite and CPP EVO sets have vibration motors built into the pedals themselves, so ABS, lock-up and road surface cues come straight from the pedal without adding a bass shaker or an external transducer. The EVO uses Conspit's M-DVF vibration feedback with native iRacing and SimHub support.

Can I start with two pedals and add a clutch later?

Yes. The CPP Apex 2, CPP Lite and CPP EVO are all offered as two or three pedal sets, and the Apex 2 clutch pedal is sold on its own so you can upgrade a two pedal set without replacing it. If you race anything with a manual start procedure, or you want to practise clutch kicks in drift, the third pedal is worth adding.

What is the Conspit H3 handbrake and what is dual-mode?

The H3 is a hydraulic handbrake built for drift and rally, using Conspit's second generation hydraulic system, a 10MPa sensor and a polyurethane elastomer. Dual-mode means the lever position switches between a classic upright orientation and a competitive layout, so it can match the car you are driving and the way your rig is laid out.

Will Conspit hardware fit my existing rig or aluminium profile cockpit?

In almost every case yes. The Ares bases mount with the standard side and bottom patterns used across the industry, and a side mounting bracket and a 15cm extension rod are available for tighter cockpits. The CSD dashboard mounts to the FP-Lite, to aluminium profile rigs and to other cockpits with the right adapter. Send us your rig model before ordering and we will confirm the fit.

Does Conspit hardware work on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. Conspit wheel bases, wheels and pedals are PC sim racing hardware and are not licensed for PlayStation or Xbox. If you need a console-compatible setup, call us on 0488 385 870 and we will point you at the right brand for your platform.

What is included in the Conspit F1 and GT Lite bundles?

The F1 Bundle pairs the 290 GP Formula wheel, the Ares quick release, the Ares 12Nm wheel base and the CPP Lite two pedal set. The GT Lite Bundle is the same base, quick release and pedal set with the 300 GT wheel instead. Both are complete wheel, base and pedal packages. If you want a bundle changed, call us and we will build the combination you actually want.

Can I build my own wheel with the H.A.O hub?

Yes, that is what it is designed for. The H.A.O hub carries the display, the 9 RPM LEDs and all the controls, and you choose the rim. Conspit offers the CX295, RX320 and DX320 rims, or you can fit a third-party rim. The hub runs on an Ares base or on any base with a compatible third-party quick release.

What warranty do Conspit products come with in Australia?

All Conspit products bought from Player1 Sim Gear carry the manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, and every purchase is also protected under Australian Consumer Law. Because we are the authorised Australian distributor, claims are handled locally in Queensland rather than through an overseas support queue.
