Our story

Player1 Sim Gear was created by sim enthusiasts, for sim enthusiasts. We set out to build one place where racers and flight simmers (not to mention sim farmers, space pilots, truckers and every other kind of sim fan) could shop the best hardware brands with honest, expert advice.

Over the past four years we have grown into one of Australia's leading simulation specialist retailers, with the widest range of premium sim racing and flight simulation gear in the country. We are an authorised distributor or dealer for the brands we sell, and we would rather give you the right recommendation than a hard sell.

We are passionate about giving back to the local racing and flight communities that make this hobby so rewarding. If you race, fly or farm with a group we could support, we would love to hear about it.

Who is Player1 Sim Gear?

Player1 Sim Gear is a specialist sim racing and flight simulation retailer, created by sim enthusiasts for sim enthusiasts. Over the past four years we have grown into one of Australia's leading simulation specialists, with the widest range of premium simulator gear in the country.

Where are you based?

Our headquarters and warehouse are at 18/14-18 Tooronga St, Kunda Park QLD 4556, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. We also have an expansion warehouse in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Is Player1 Sim Gear Australian owned?

Yes. Player1 Sim Gear is 100% Australian owned and operated, and based in Queensland.

Can I visit you or pick up my order?

Yes, by appointment. Consultations and pickups are available at our Kunda Park premises. Please call 0488 385 870 or send us a message to arrange a time before visiting.

Do you have a showroom?

Our showroom opens in November 2026 and will be open by appointment only, so we can give you our full attention and have the right gear set up for you to try.

Which brands are you an authorised distributor for?

We are the authorised Australian and New Zealand distributor for VIRPIL Controls and NCRD, the official Australian distributor for Pimax, the authorised Australian distributor for Conspit, and an authorised Australian distributor for Vero Motion.

Which brands are you an authorised dealer for?

We are an authorised dealer for brands including Simagic, Trak Racer, MOZA Racing, Heusinkveld, Logitech, PXN and Sabelt.

Why buy from an authorised distributor or dealer?

You get genuine stock supplied through the brand's official channel, a valid manufacturer warranty, and local support from a team that knows the products. Grey-import gear can leave you without local warranty support.

How does warranty work?

Warranty claims are handled locally by our team in Queensland. Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue and we will troubleshoot with you first. If an item is confirmed faulty we will arrange a repair or a like-for-like replacement, working with the manufacturer where needed.

How quickly do you ship?

We aim to ship on the same day we receive your order. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and 2-8 business days for delivery, depending on your location and the item. Some orders ship from our warehouse and some directly from our suppliers, so larger orders may arrive in more than one delivery.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

No. Because many of our products are large or heavy, we can only ship to confirmed street addresses. We recommend a business address where someone is available to receive the delivery.

Do you ship to New Zealand?

Yes. We now have a New Zealand store and an expansion warehouse in Hamilton, starting with local VIRPIL Controls stock. Other products can be shipped from Australia on request. Read more about our New Zealand plans.

Are your prices in Australian dollars and do they include GST?

Yes. All prices on our Australian store are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.

What is your returns policy?

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be unopened and in their original condition and packaging. Email support@p1simgear.com.au with your order number before sending anything back, and we will reply with the return details. A restocking fee may apply. See our full refund policy for details.

Can you help me choose the right gear?

Absolutely, that is what we are here for. Call 0488 385 870 or send us a message with your budget, space, platform (PC, PlayStation or Xbox) and what you want to race or fly, and we will give you an honest recommendation.

Do you sell complete sim racing packages?

Yes. Our complete packages combine a cockpit, wheel base, wheel and pedals that are matched to work together, and we also put together flight sim packages.

Can you get a product you do not list?

Often, yes. If there is a piece of gear you want that we do not currently stock, let us know and we will do our best to source it for you.

Do you support sim racing and flight sim communities?

Yes. Giving back to the local racing and flight communities is a big part of why we started Player1. If you race, fly or farm with a league, club or group, we would love to hear how we can help.
