MOZA HMA150 four-actuator 3DOF motion rig under a full racing cockpit

A complete four-actuator motion platform that lifts your whole cockpit into the action.

4-axis 3DOF motion

Pitch, roll and heave, felt in real time

Four actuators drive a 3DOF platform under your cockpit, reproducing the three motions that matter most: the nose pitching under braking and acceleration, the chassis rolling through corners, and the whole rig heaving over kerbs and bumps. Ultra-low latency keeps every movement locked to what is happening on screen.

MOZA HMA150 pitch motion

Pitch

The rig tilts forward and back, so you feel weight transfer under braking, acceleration and gradient changes.

MOZA HMA150 roll motion

Roll

The cockpit leans side to side through corners, giving you a direct read on lateral grip and balance.

MOZA HMA150 heave motion

Heave

The whole platform rises and drops, delivering kerbs, bumps and surface texture straight through the seat.

Fully in-house engineered

Designed and built by MOZA, end to end

MOZA developed the motor, the actuator, the control electronics and the software as one system, so every part is tuned to work together for precise, responsive motion.

MOZA HMA150 high-torque-density servo motor

High-torque-density servo motor

Near-zero cogging torque delivers millisecond-level response with smooth, detailed motion, the muscle behind fast, precise movement.

MOZA HMA150 in-house linear actuator system

In-house linear actuator system

A high-performance servo motor paired with a precision ball screw converts torque into accurate, rapid travel across the full 150 mm stroke.

MOZA HMA150 motion control processor

Proprietary motion control

A 600 MHz control processor and 21-bit magnetic encoder run MOZA's own algorithms to process motion data in real time with near-zero latency.

MOZA Motion Manager software

MOZA Motion Manager

Fine-tune motion range, intensity, degrees-of-freedom effects and vibration, then save, export and share your own presets.

Engineered to perform

Fast, quiet, precise and safe

The same in-house engineering shows up in how the HMA150 behaves under load: rapid and responsive, remarkably quiet, precise across its full travel, and safe by design.

MOZA HMA150 rapid high-speed response
Rapid response

High-speed, millisecond response

Up to 300 mm/s of speed and more than 1G of acceleration, with near-zero cogging torque for millisecond-level response, so every input lands the instant it happens on screen.

MOZA HMA150 quiet operation
Quiet operation

Below 55 dB, even at full tilt

The precision ball-screw drive keeps noise below 55 dB even at maximum speed and acceleration, so the motion adds to the immersion, not to the noise in the room.

MOZA HMA150 precision ball-screw travel
Precision travel

Accurate, repeatable, built to last

The in-house ball-screw actuator delivers accurate, repeatable movement across its full 150 mm stroke, and has passed over five million full-stroke cycles in testing for long-term reliability.

MOZA HMA150 safe 48V low-voltage power
Safe power

Safe 48V low-voltage operation

Low-voltage DC operation runs safer, quieter and more efficiently than high-voltage motion systems, without compromising performance.

MOZA HMA150 emergency stop and connectivity
Peace of mind

Emergency stop and simple wiring

A one-touch emergency stop halts all motion immediately, and clean USB connectivity keeps the four-actuator system straightforward to wire and run.

Software

MOZA Motion Manager and AI Motion

MOZA Motion Manager gives you visual, adjustable control over every motion and haptic effect, and AI Motion fills the gaps where a game does not expose telemetry.

MOZA Motion Manager software interface
  • AI-powered gameplay recognition reads the on-screen action to generate motion
  • Scenario-based haptics tuned to the action, from gunfire and explosions to hard cornering
  • Hybrid telemetry plus AI, so titles without native telemetry still get proper motion
  • Adjust feedback intensity and output limits to balance immersion and comfort
  • Save, export and share presets to build and reuse personalised profiles
  • Online updates to the AI model and effects library, expanding game support with no hardware upgrade
Performance

Built for serious immersion

  • Exceptional dynamic performance

Up to 150 mm stroke, 300 mm/s speed and more than 1G of acceleration for fast, decisive motion.

  • Wide-band vibration to 200 Hz

0 to 200 Hz vibration layers surface detail and engine feel on top of the large motions.

  • High load capacity

Up to 250 kg at full performance, and up to 350 kg at reduced performance, so a fully-loaded rig still moves properly.

  • Quiet operation

Noise stays below 55 dB even at maximum speed and acceleration, thanks to the precision ball-screw drive.

  • Rigorously tested

Over five million full-stroke cycles, in a high-strength aluminium alloy housing.

  • 48V DC with emergency stop

Safe 48V low-voltage DC power and an integrated emergency stop for peace of mind at speed.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the MOZA HMA150 Haptic Motion System?
It is MOZA Racing's flagship motion system. Four HMA150 linear actuators drive a 4-axis 3DOF platform that sits under your cockpit and reproduces pitch, roll and heave, with wide-band vibration on top, for racing and flight simulation. It is designed and built in-house by MOZA and controlled through MOZA Motion Manager.
What motions does it reproduce?
It reproduces 3DOF motion: pitch (tilting forward and back for braking and acceleration), roll (leaning side to side through corners) and heave (the whole platform rising and dropping over kerbs and bumps). It also adds 0 to 200 Hz wide-band vibration for surface and engine detail.
How strong and fast is it?
Each actuator provides up to 150 mm of stroke, 300 mm/s of speed and more than 1G of acceleration. It supports heavy, fully-loaded cockpits: up to around 250 kg of payload at full performance, and up to 350 kg at reduced performance.
Is it noisy?
No. The precision ball-screw drive keeps noise below 55 dB even at maximum speed and acceleration, so the motion adds to the immersion rather than the noise. It is a servo-driven linear actuator system rather than a pneumatic or belt-and-pulley design.
Do I need a special cockpit to use it?
The HMA150 is a 3DOF platform that a rigid aluminium-profile or steel cockpit mounts onto. If you are not sure whether your rig is suitable, contact us and we will check the fit and talk through options before you order.
Which games and sims does it support?
It works with the major racing and flight titles through telemetry, and MOZA's AI Motion adds support for games that do not expose native telemetry by reading the on-screen action. MOZA continues to expand game support through software updates.
What is AI Motion?
AI Motion is MOZA's AI-powered gameplay recognition. It watches what is happening in the game and generates motion and haptic effects even when the title has no native telemetry output. Rather than replacing telemetry, it complements it, bringing immersive feedback to a much wider range of games.
How reliable is it?
The HMA150 has undergone over five million full-stroke cycles in testing and uses a high-strength aluminium alloy housing, a 21-bit magnetic encoder and a 600 MHz control processor for accurate, durable operation.
Is it safe?
It runs on safe 48V low-voltage DC power and includes an integrated emergency stop so you can cut motion instantly if needed.
How is it powered and connected?
The system runs on 48V low-voltage DC and connects to your PC to run MOZA Motion Manager. The kit includes the power supply and cabling required to build the four-actuator system.
How heavy is it and how does it ship?
The complete system has a shipping weight of around 33 kg and ships as a freight item. We will confirm freight to your address before dispatch.
Does it work with my MOZA wheelbase and pedals?
Yes. The HMA150 moves the whole cockpit, so it works alongside any wheelbase, pedals and peripherals mounted to your rig, MOZA or otherwise. Browse our MOZA range to complete the setup.
What warranty does it come with in Australia?
As the authorised Australian dealer for MOZA Racing, Player1 Sim Gear handles warranty locally in Queensland with no overseas returns required, backed by Australian Consumer Law.
Do you ship to New Zealand?
Yes, we ship to both Australia and New Zealand. Given the size and weight, contact us for a freight quote and timeframe to your location before ordering.
Is the price in AUD and does it include GST?
Yes, the price shown is in Australian dollars and includes GST, from a local authorised MOZA dealer with no hidden import fees.
Can you help me spec a full motion rig?
Absolutely. Message us and we can help you match the HMA150 to a suitable cockpit, wheelbase, pedals and monitor setup for a complete motion simulator.
